What Happens After I Send My Application To The Government?

Sending your immigration application package is the first step. It could be months or years before your application is reviewed depending on the situation. We provide next steps, such as preparation for the in-person interview, instructions about additional documentation needed, and attention to every other important milestone along the way.

What About Supporting Documents?

Beyond the government forms, the application package includes all required supporting documents, such as copies of your passport and official certificates. We spell it out.

How much does this cost?

Our straightforward stateside adjustment of status (“green card”) service is $1450*.

These flat rates cover your complete application package—including:

  1. Client Portal to complete forms, upload documents, and track your progress;
  2. Client instructions from us specific to your case concerning information, documents, and the process as we go;
  3. Attorney review and edits; and
  4. "Call Support" with a live trained staff member when you need answers.

* $1450 is for adjustment of status involving a US citizen petitioner and foreign spouse. Standard legal fees for low cost services are modified depending on: US petitioner is an LPR green card holder; a joint sponsor is required; the foreign spouse has one or more children in the US. Complex cases are estimated separately. The Check eligibility tool helps confirm your situation.

Call center

“Call Support” from trained professionals includes live voice chat or phone support:

  1. Up to 1 hour with an experienced paralegal going over your materials or any aspects of the immigration process together with you as you like; or
  2. Up to 30 minutes with one of our attorneys concerning any legal advice or support you need. You can mix and match, and we’ll track the time.

Communication Support includes time to talk or communicate by email on matters you initiate. For Call Support, you simply calendar the time and we will discuss any matters relating to your immigration process. For Email Support, you simply initiate your request for our follow up. We simply track the time to address your special needs.

It's o.k. to "reup" support for $150 for additional time as you like. So, there is no end to Communication Support you may want. The amount of support included in our base fee is sufficient for most clients. See our Sample Agreement for further details.

Fees paid to the United States government are separate.
