Your best immigration choice

We are a law firm with immigration expertise. Other immigration agents new to the scene will tend to over-promise, but have difficulty delivering excellent service for these reasons:

  1. Immigration is not one size fits all. Clients have varying needs; everyone’s situation is not the same. As such, volumes of written instructions are required for software technologies to address the subtleties of cases that seem typical, but are not.
  2. Trained and knowledgeable staff are required to help with case specific concerns. A law firm of licensed attorneys employing supervised staff have the training and expertise to give helpful advice. Unlicensed immigration agents fall short.
  3. A well-trained staff is not without cost. But, “immigration agents” push low prices to compete. The upshot is that the written instructions are voluminous, the staff is not trained to be effective, and the companies and clients both suffer.

The combination of problems causes the company to underdeliver on competence. The comment below about another non-attorney company illustrates the point

“No communication for weeks when [other company says] they respond in 2-3 days. Stringed our application along for months, no reason given. Our guide one day just sends us an email after zero communication to tell us she left the company. We just received our packet and the information is incorrect and missing things like instructions they said they would provide…. We would have saved money and time by just hiring a private attorney.”

  • Unlicensed "agents" cannot offer legal advice, and they normally cannot interact with US immigration agencies.

We conduct legal research and stay abreast of ongoing changes to immigration law. We have insightful and instructive responses for clients and agency inquiries.

  • Unlicensed agents normally don't conduct independent legal research, increasing risks for the client.

Licensed attorneys are liable and accountable to clients.

  • Unlicensed agents have less accountability to clients and less incentive to be responsible when things go wrong.

For those clients who have uncomplicated cases, we open our Client app and give you organizational tools to work efficiently on your case, and we give advice and make suggestions along the way. We take the mystery out of the immigration process and help you prepare and process. A no frills approach to straightforward cases saves you money and gives you what you need to get the job done.

Our staff is cohesive. We’re a team. Most of us have worked together for a decade or longer. Allow us to help you organize and you should come out fine.

Sometimes, cases are problematic to the point that it would be unwise for the client to work mainly independently. They need strong attorney representation and advocacy right from the start. Contact us if you believe your case falls outside the normⓘ so we may discuss issues with you. There is no charge for the call. We only ask that you have a serious interest in working with our firm on case processing. We can help you find the right fit for the support you need.

What falls outside the norm is too varied to describe here because all relationships are not the same. Immigration officers like to stay within a comfort zone, and start resisting when your relationship is not typical for our US culture.

Red flags include: a quick engagement, a large age difference, dating someone from a developing country, or diverse religious or cultural beliefs.

Disparity in relationships can call into question the genuineness of the relationship itself. Immigration officers know that more than half the marriages in the US end in divorce. They often make silent judgments about your relationship, and have the power to approve or deny your case.
